Around 35 nurses came from 3 nursing school (14 from Appollo School of Nursing, 8 from Aware School of Nursing, 10 from JMJ School of Nursing, 1 Brother from Pioneer School of Nursing) and 10 from Jesus Youth family came together for Talitha cum , A Hyd Nurses Leaders Gathering.

We had a good time of Praise Worship, Word of God Sharing, Experience Sharing, JY Presentation, Adoration, Joyful Action Songs and Intercession through out the program. At the end of the program, some nurses shared that if they didn’t come for this program it will be a great miss for them. Also many want to part of Jesus Youth family and to start prayer fellowship in their nursing school. JMJ School management & All Sisters were so supportive and they provided everything (Venue, lunch, tea & snacks, Lcd projector) free of cost. It was beyond our expectation.

Fr. Kishore, Parish priest of Silvagiri Church, Nandigama invited Jesus Youth to conduct one hour JY prayer on 25th Feb 2007 around 8PM to 10 PM.

Actually this is a Marian Shrine and 25th is last day of 3 days Marian Festival.

Fr. Don Bosco took around 60 youth to Silvagiri, Nandigama.

After evening mass, Jesus youth started Action songs followed by half an hour SKIT and after that explained about Jesus Youth 6 Pillers and JY Spirituality and how this movement helping the Youth to transform their lifes.

More than 2,000 people were there for this JY Program at that time.

Chaitanya and Prasanna meet Fr. Cyril, Asst Director of Divine Word Center, Muthangi and also Fr. Bala , Director of St. Joseph's Dental college, Eluru.

In January,Jesus Youth Started a prayer group in St.Peters parish,NGOs colony, Hanmakonda and this month also they had a Jesus Youth Fellowship prayer in Sacred heart chuch , Naim nagar,Hanmakonda, Warangal. Gunala Kiran from Vijayawada went and lead the group in nice time of praise & worship and shared about Jesus Youth and around 30 - 40 people were there. After one elder shared the word of God and Sr. lilly also there for the prayer group.

Parish Ministry had its first programme for the year 2007 at St.Francis of Assisi Parish,Ramnagar on Sunday 18th Feb. The programme was from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, we had the Parish Liturgical committee (Elders)who wanted to spend some time with the Lord and go-ahead with the Year plan for that Parish.

We had a Good time with the Elders, they want us to take care of the Youth of their Parish as well.We started with Action Songs and then Ashvin lead them in to Praise and Worship and Vignan took care of the Music. Then we had a small time of sharing the word (1 Timothy 4:4-16). All of them shared their Thoughts and Jarald shared his experiences of serving his church and the reward that God gave him and at last we summed up with the 12th Verse where St.Paul insists us to take care of our Conduct, Speech, Love, Purity and Faith, which all Catholic Leaders have to adopt. After a small break we concluded with Adoration.

Arise Shine Out for the Battle Belongs to the Lord – It was a wonderful experience for all the JY Hyd Servant Leaders as we were all gathered at one place in an informal environment as a family for the full day.

We started the day with the Rosary followed by a few games and Praise & Worship. We then had the JY National presentation on the current happenings and the Road Ahead and the JY HYD presentation on the Visions and Mission statement and the Road Ahead 2007.

Each ministry then presented the Mission, Objectives and the Road ahead of their ministry. There was a session by Fr Arun on Servant Leadership and Adoration by Sr Mary.

Gunadala Matha Festival was successfull , more than 10 Lakh devoties attended this festival and everything went on well without any problem.

Of those 10 Lakhs only 40% were Catholics means 4 lakh remaining people are mixed people from different religions ( Hindus, Muslims) and ofcourse Prostantents.

For this festival Jesus youth in Vijayawada diocese took initiative of reciding 1 Lakh Rosaries & 3 days 24 hours Perpetuial Adoration for the Success of this Festival.
Jesus Youth of Hyderabad and other prayer groups in Andhra Pradesh also joined in receiting One lakh Rosaries for the success of this festival,

Festival started with Holy mass on 9th Feb 2007 at 6.30 AM and around 8.30 AM Adoration Started and ended on 11th Feb 2007 late night.

Many Religious ( Sisters , Priests, Decons, Brothers, Seminary & Convent students) , General devoties from Warangal and other parts of AP also took part in this Adoration along with Jesus Youth of Vijayawada Diocese.

Most. Rev. Prakash Mallavarapu, Bishop of Vijayawada also spent some time in Adoration along with Jesus Youth on 9th & 11th Feb 2007.

Fr. Don Bosco , Our diocese Youth Director was always there with us and helped us alot and also two big JY Banners were put one at Main Entrance and other near the Adoration hall so that every one know that Adoration is going on at that place and frequent announcements were made by Fr. Bosco and the Festival organizing committe about the Adoration from the main stage.

On 9th Feb 2007 time was alloted to present Youth Activities from 9.30 to 10.30 PM

It started with Donbosco Navajeen Musical band followed by YOV Skit , theme of the Skit is " Do What Jesus Says " skit depicts the Scene of Marriage of Cana , Mother Mary telling the people to Do what Jesus and it was presented in different way relating to the present days trend.

After that Fr. Bosco gave Introduction of Jesus Youth and the activites that happened in last one year after that we presented Jesus Youth 2006 events 15 minutes Video presentation and our dear Bp. Prakash Mallavarapu graced the occassion and allmost 300 Religious ( Sisters , Priests, Decons, Brothers, Seminary & Convent students) more than 50 thousand people were in the ground who watched the video presentation, we all were happy and this happened on 9th Feb 2007 first day of the festival.

On 11th Feb 2007 around 7.30 PM , JY lead the people in Praise & Worship starting with Action songs for more than 25 Minutes and alomst 5 - 10 Thousand people were sitting in the ground who participated in this 40 mins and there are so many people passing by from ground and climbing the Hill as it was the last day of the Festival.

Finally, the festival was successfull and this festival helped Jesus Youth Movement to reach out to many Religious and lay leaders and general people .

We had night vigil at St.Anns Mallapur on 2nd February 2007 went on very well

The Night schedule was like the below

9.00 –10pm = start with praise and worship by one of the sisters
10.00 – 10.30 pm = rosary
10.30 – 11.20 pm = prayer and worship by Sr
11.20 – 12.30 am =Praise and worship by Shibu
12.30 – 1.15 am := adoration and worship by the formation Sisters
1.15 – 1.30 = introduction and action songs
1.30 – 1.45 = testimony sharing by Besto
1.45 – 1.55=individual testimony sharing among the people in groups of 2 each
1.55 – 2.10 = sharing the testimony by Aunty flora
2.10 – 2.35 = sharing the word of god and discussing same groups
2.35 – 3.00 = rosary with intercession prayers
3.00 – 3.20 = divine mercy chaplet
3.20 – 3.35 = break
3.35 – 4.30 = testimony sharing by prince
4.30 – 5.30 = adoration by Aunty flora and Sr

The Members attended for this are - Shibu,Besto,Abraham,geo,Prince,Annette,Loretta,vijay

There were around 30 in the begining and the end there were around 15

Fr. Bala Director of the college invited Jesus youth to conduct a 3 hours prayer meeting in the college and A Team of 5 people from Vijayawada Jesus youth went to the college and conducted the prayer meeting and Jr. Doctors were very impressed with the Jesus Youth Life style and 6 Pillers.
